Speedometer HUD

A GPS speedometer with no ads, that shows a dash when the GPS can't vouch for the reading — instead of a number it made up.

It knows when it doesn't know

Every GPS reading comes with the phone's own estimate of its error. The app checks it before showing anything. If the margin is too wide, you see a dash, not a guess, and never a stale number left over from a minute ago.

No ads, no account, no internet

You pay once. There is no advertising, no subscription, no sign-up, and the app has no internet permission, so your speed and location never leave the phone.

What it does

Big, readable speed · the GPS margin of error, shown · mph, km/h, knots or m/s with one tap · a speed alert that only fires on a trusted reading · windshield HUD mode · trip distance, top and average speed · a history of past trips.
